My Name is Fiona MacKenzie and I am a psychotherapist and counsellor working with adults and couples from my consulting rooms in Kentish Town and Highgate and also online.
I offer a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment in which to explore your thoughts and feelings, to help you move beyond your perceived limitations and realise your full potential.
Therapy offers the opportunity to achieve a greater understanding of ourselves and our emotional distress and through the process of therapy we can discover what holds us back, enabling us to change old patterns and find new ways of approaching and overcoming difficulties. This leads to better solutions, it enables us to be better grounded and take more control of our lives, improving confidence and self-esteem.
I would recommend we arrange a 30 minute consultation, which would be free of charge and without obligation. This allows us to explore the issues you wish to bring to therapy, what you hope to gain from therapy and for me to answer any questions you may have. It also gives me the opportunity to explain a little bit more about how I work. You can contact me by phone, email or by completing the form on the contact page here.
Therapy is one way of finding out more about yourself, who you are in the world, how you relate to others, what stops you from reaching your potential, what causes you to feel down, have mood swings or feel depressed. Are you stuck? Anxious? Why do you keep repeating the same self-defeating pattern of behaviour? Feelings of low self-esteem and confidence? Struggling with a relationship?
